Nice place. Rules are a little odd (like no fishing after dark!). Golf course looks nice. Lake was good for kayaking. Fish seem to be alright.
Gorgeous views! Beautiful golf course! The hotel rooms are nice but they're little bit run down and old and the service could have been a little bit better but other than that it was a great experience!
Beautiful property not far from the Maryland border. we stayed in the motel. Fairly standard motel facility. However the beds are extremely comfortable. Nice pool in the lodge. There is a mini golf course but we didn't have a chance to play. I like that they have security at the gate 24/7. Would visit again.
The resort is a nice place to stay near Terra Alta & Kingwood WV. The lodge has great lake views and the area is beautiful. The two story hotel/motel next to the lodge has clean, well maintained rooms. They also have cabins. I have not stayed in one, but I'm told they're nice. The restaurant has a nice variety of food (my son liked the mussels a lot) and the staff took good care of us. My family has been staying here once a year for a nearby family reunion for a while and it seems a lot of improvements have been made the past couple of years. Very good value for the price.
Amazing place for rest and relaxation. Hotel hallways are a little dated but the rooms are really nice and clean. Restaurant food was really good and inexpensive. Staff was very nice. Have stayed in a cabin there also and our family had a great time.
