My brother and I went there a few years back with my 90+ yr old aunt. We were only in town for a day and the historical society was closed. My aunt made a few calls and they opened up to accomadate our schedule. I could have spent days instead of a few hours there. I saw pictures from and artifacts that I will never see (or touch) again in my life. Pictures of civil war veterans reunions and fought ones with my direct family in them. The lady who opened up for us had copies made and sent to my home later. Thanks for a memory of a lifetime.
